Terms of Use
The rules and guidelines for using the ScanFraud platform and website, including acceptable use and liability.
01Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ScanFraud website and platform provided by SFC GROUP LTD (“ScanFraud”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
02Eligibility & accounts
You must be authorised to act on behalf of your organisation and be capable of forming a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
03Use of the platform
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the services in accordance with these Terms and any order or agreement between us. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the services unlawfully or in breach of any applicable regulation.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the services except as permitted by law.
- Upload malicious code or use the platform to infringe the rights of others.
05Intellectual property
The services, including all software, content, and trademarks, are owned by ScanFraud or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred. You retain ownership of data you provide, and grant us the rights necessary to deliver the services.
06Third-party services
The services may integrate with or link to third-party products. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. Availability of an integration does not imply endorsement.
07Service availability
We aim to provide reliable, secure services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. Where applicable, service levels are set out in your agreement with us.
08Disclaimers
The services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Fraud-prevention tools reduce but cannot eliminate risk.
09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScanFraud will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of the services is limited to the amounts paid by you for the services in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ScanFraud harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the services or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
12Changes & contact
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance. Questions? Contact legal@scanfraud.com.
